The Monster Inside is a short visual novel made in noir style.
In the game you play as a detective Jack (I’m not surprised he’s named like this), so you're going to investigate crime scenes (three) searching for clues (two in each scene). But keep it in mind The Monster Inside is more a narrative than game.
The plot is interesting (no spoilers) and text is well written. Moreover in this game fitting grammar is like fitting shoes. Sadly the game is so short that you can complete it less than one hour.
The noir atmosphere is excellent.
Music is nice and matches the atmosphere of the game. It's not something I'd listen to on my own time (it's simple and not a lot of variety), but I didn't feel like turning it off while playing the game.
The Monster Inside is one of those games that falls into the quirky category of "for its price it's pretty good." The game is free so I recommend it especially for those who like noir detective stories.

«×óäîâèùå âíóòðè» – êîðîòêàÿ âèçóàëüíàÿ íîâåëëà, ñäåëàííàÿ â ñòèëå íóàð.
Âû èãðàåòå çà äåòåêòèâà ïî èìåíè Äæåê (íå óäèâëåí, ÷òî åãî òàê çîâóò), ïîýòîìó âû ñîáèðàåòåñü èññëåäîâàòü ìåñòà ïðåñòóïëåíèÿ (òðè) â ïîèñêàõ óëèê (ïî äâå â êàæäîì ìåñòå ïðåñòóïëåíèÿ).
Íî èìåéòå ýòî â âèäó, ÷òî «×óäîâèùå âíóòðè» - ñêîðåå ïîâåñòâîâàíèå, ÷åì èãðà.
Ñþæåò èíòåðåñåí (áåç ñïîéëåðîâ), à òåêñò õîðîøî íàïèñàí. Áîëåå òîãî, â ýòîé èãðå ãðàììàòèêà ïîäîáíà õîðîøåé îáóâè. Ê ñîæàëåíèþ, èãðà íàñòîëüêî êîðîòêà, ÷òî âû ìîæåòå çàâåðøèòü åå ìåíåå ÷åì çà ÷àñ.
Àòìîñôåðà íóàðà - âåëèêîëåïíà.
Ìóçûêà õîðîøà è ñîîòâåòñòâóåò àòìîñôåðå èãðû. ß áû íå ñëóøàë åå â ñâîå ñâîáîäíîå âðåìÿ (îíà ïðîñòà è íå ðàçíîîáðàçíà), íî ìíå íå õîòåëîñü îòêëþ÷àòü åå âî âðåìÿ èãðû.
«×óäîâèùå âíóòðè» - îäíà èç òåõ èãð, êîòîðûå ïîïàäàþò â ïðè÷óäëèâóþ êàòåãîðèþ «Õîðîøà äëÿ ñâîåé öåíû». Èãðà - áåñïëàòíà, ïîýòîìó ÿ ðåêîìåíäóþ åå, îñîáåííî òåì, êòî ëþáèò äåòåêòèâíûå èñòîðèè â ñòèëå íóàð.
