The negatives:
- The community is cancerous. Everyone spams 'ez' or 'изи' ('ez' in Russian) at the end of every single match, making the losers feel terrible and spreading that attitude of negativity to others. People also spam 'ez mid' or 'noob' for no reason other than making others feel bad.
- The ranked system is broken. I don't care what some 6k egotist on reddit says about 'get gud to raise your mmr'. That is simply fallacious. Raising your mmr is pure luck. You can't help if you get matched with people that intentionally feed or go afk. No matter how well you do in the game, if you lose, your mmr decreases. This also works the other way around. If you feed deliberately but your team wins, you gain mmr. Seems fair. The only way it seems to raise your mmr is to abuse the cancer (overpowered) heroes of the patch, in which case, it is not by skill that you are raising your mmr, but by abusing a broken hero. Again, a broken system. Don't hope to have fun in ranked.
- 90% of the people I get matched with can't speak English, despite my language preference being set to English.
- Even though the game has over 100 heroes, you see the same ones over and over again, meaning you have to play the same heroes over and over to counter them.
- Getting reported for no/stupid reasons. I got reported by 3 people because I said I was playing Windranger as a support, because they believed that she was best as a carry (we won that game aswell).
The positives: - The game is fun with friends. Playing in a 5 stack also eliminates the possibility of deliberate feeders and AFK'ers.
- Cosmetic items keep the heroes fresh and add something for people that enjoy collecting things.
- Sometimes you will get a good team and have a really fun game.
- The game looks very nice visually.
- The game is insanely addictive.
The game itself is very good, but it just gets ruined by the players.
