Привет, я знаю, что у людей на нормальных компьютерах, на которых без проблем работают другие игры (в том числе сетевые) - возникает вылет из игры в главное меню с ошибкой "CLIENT TIMED OUT". К сожалению, из-за криворукого, неответственного разработчика - она до сих пор не устранена, хотя жалоб и сообщений сотни, как на форуме игры/Steam'a, так и в googl'е (потому эти ***** и неответственные). О целях преследуемых Valve, нам остаётся только догадываться.Поскольку, к сожалению, я отношусь к тем людям, у которых данная проблема возникает время от времени, я решил написать о найденных "решениях" этой проблемы, так как Valve до сих пор советует лишь ерунду (вроде перезагрузки маршрутизатора) и не поясняет - почему с остальными сетевыми шутерами (в разы требовательней и лучше l4d2) никаких проблем не происходит. Я не знаю, работает какое-либо из них в 100% случаев и работает ли вообще. Факт тот, что после того как я нашёл свой вариант - игра через несколько месяцев стала снова вылетать. Но пробуйте - вдруг получится (исправления от Valve ждать не приходится).
Решения можно применять как вместе, так и по отдельности. Но лучше сначала по отдельности (так понятней какое решение вам подходит):
1. Удалите игру, удалите её папку из директории - "Steamsteamappscommon". Запустите ПО которое удаляет мусор/чистит реестр (советовать какое не буду, ищите на Википедии). Установите игру заново. Убедитесь что перед запуском Steam у вас включена служба "Steam Client Service" её запуск необходим для правильной "регистрации" игры и её обновлений;
2. Удалите файл - «ClientRegistry.blob» в директории Steam;
3. "Разлогиньтесь" в Steam и войдите заново;
4. Запустите Steam, зайдите в настройки, выберите "Cloud" - там уберите все галочки, принимаем изменения, выходим и перезапускаем Steam;
5. Зайдите в свою "Библиотеку" щёлкните правой кнопкой мыши по игре и выберите "свойства". Найдите и отключите функцию "Steam Cloud". Выходим и перезапускаем Steam
6. Запустите игру, зайдите в настройки, найдите и отключите функцию "Steam Cloud". Перезагрузите игру.;
7. Зайдите в "Библиотеку" (в 3 часа ночи), щёлкните правой кнопкой мыши по игре и выберите "свойства". Нажмите параметры запуска там пропишите (сначала что-то одно, если не поможет всё вместе) без кавычек:
1) "-dxlevel 95"
2) "+ HostPort 27005"
3) "+ clientport 270xx" (вместо xx число от 01 до 19)
8. Запустите игру, откройте консоль и пропишите в ней (без кавычек) - "cl_timeout "99999"
9. Запустив игру, откройте Диспетчер задач и установите высокий уровень приоритета для left4dead2.exe;
10. Запустите Steam откройте Диспетчер задач и установите высокий уровень приоритета для Steam.exe;
11. Удалите все модификации (можно в избранное добавить, чтобы не забыть их);
12. Самый плохой способ - запустите Steam от имени администратора (но почему-то самый действенный, судя по googl'у);
13. Самый наивный - обратитесь в поддержку Steam;
14.
